SEMDRA
This past weekend was my first semdra race that I could run competitively in (ran in 05) but we had a blast! Smokin and bigtd, met some of yalls buddies, Tim with the blue 14 and the harley guys, Taco and can't remember the other guys name, but I got put out in 3rd round of ultra street by the silver harley bc I redlit, and finished 3rd in street et. Didn't figure that was too bad since it was my first time runnin semdra.
BUT, the best thing I seen all night was the top 3 bikes in street et was 3 blue 14's!!! Some cool shit! Just thought I'd share my fun this weekend

How did Timmy do ? Timmy is one great guy and crazy as loon ...lol...Great job going to the thrid round , it's not easy to do because these guys you are racing are some of the best around ..Them guys are on kill 24/7 .....

I was there also. Yeah it was a blast. I was in street et on the black 06 brock piped zx14. Bike number is 412. I got put out first round on a fluke got timed out. Bought back in and lost in the 3rd round to I forget his name but he was the young guy on the green zx10. I went red and lost. The thing that hurts is i went red and he broke way out trying to catch me. I was trying to push the tree and it pushed back with a red light.

Oh and that silver harley was a beast. I don't really like harleys but I like that one. On another note its funny how we are starting to see more 14's at SEMDRA now or at the track for that matter. The 14s were out in number this weekend. I just wish someone would get some film of the event and post it. Good luck with the season and hope to see you out there at the next event peace.

Was the Harley a 2 tone silver / black (left / right) combo?
Running around a 9.40? If so, that guy and his partner race/practice near me all the time. "Holeshot" racing is the team name.

Naw, I its a lot faster than a 9.40 I'd guess 9.0's. He's from clearwater

i know all the harley guys but don't tell anybody......  the siver and black vrod is owned by an old friend of mine mike who owns a body shop nearby. black cat motorsports is the logo and the shop is called color concepts. he has a jockey riding it these days and it has had some extensive help. there is another guy cross-thread ed who rides a screamin eagle vrod that is very sharp. and manny (taco) has another vrod that was the shop dyno queen from jims harley davidson in st pete. it runs good. mikes has seen an 8.99 with a jockey on it, manny runs 10's, and ed prolly high tens low 11's. i don't keep up with their latest numbers...none of them want a piece of the 14 out on the open road but in the eigth mile they give it hell. mikes bike broke before the start of the season before last and we took my then track virgin 14 up there and he rode it into the final in the 6.60 class and blew the tire away and ended up #2. i got some 10 second passes out of it on practice day, not bad for the first trip. i love that track in valdosta and hope to go back there after getting smokin to set it up right for the return. i have full leathers now but hate to flatten out a good cornering tire before its time. i had fun there last time and hope to return soon. it is a first class facility.

o yea, pulled my fastest 60ft sat as well, got a 1.42 twice! usually they are 1.44 to 1.46.

I was there but not on my bike and should have looked for some of you guys, the 14s represented well and made me proud. I'll be there at the next race i think that's in may and i'll look for you guys, i've never seen busas get bullied around like that, and the young guy on the 10 was good!

Usually they make street tires run in the outside lane, but after the first test run, I bet their was at least 8 or 9 guys (including myself) that just blew the tire completely off they let us run the inside lane.
