Removing Race Fuel?
I have heard that mr9 is the best race fuel for running N/A ZX14s (per brocks dairy), but it must be remove as soon as possible or it will damage the fuel pump etc.
Do you guys know if pumping the left over fuel(1 gal or less) out with a hose, and filling the tank up with 93 octane, and running it for a few miles will dilute the race fuel enough so that it want harm the motorcycle?

Syphon it all out with a hand pump then add the 93 octane and run it for a few minutes. Mr9 is very nasty when it gets old.

Yes, that will be fine. Really don't have to 'fill' it with pump gas afterwards, a gallon will do and run it for a few miles.
I've left MR9 in the tank during a weekend race with no problems. The gumming occurs when the fuel evaporates, it leaves a sticky residue.

I syphone all I can after done racing with U4 (also oxygenated) I take a cleansed out quart of oil container full of regular gas with me for a ride...it usually takes a mile or two to run out of gas....pour in the regular gas and go back home....any small container will do.....an oil quart container is perfect for me....
I do the same to put in oxygenated gas...just do the procedure backwards......fairly simple....
just hate to taste gas while syponing...

Can running the motorcycle completely out of gas hurt it in anyway?

.......just don't let it sit dry for a long period of time. I was told that the fuel pump is supposed to be imersed in gas and if it's not, there is some kinda blade thingamajigger that can dry out. ---Then again, they are stored dry before they get sold, aren't they.
I let my tank sit dry for over a week while I was doing some work on the bike this winter. No problems here.
