My bike came with Puig model R frame sliders on it. I didn't like the fact that they had an R that looked like it belonged on a GSXR so I put some of the carbon Inlay stickers in them lol. They work as advertised since they saved my fairings when I walked out into my garage and found my bike laying on its side between lowering it and shortening the kickstand. I haven't seen any of the other sliders on our bike, but the pictures don't really look like they stick out far enough to save much of anything.

you can go with the "quality" Muzzy sliders if you're the roll the dice type that enjoys a bolt hanging off the side of your bike over 10,000 times as strong as your frame material

I painted all the parts black on mine.
But in the photo you can see they have their own bracket that strengthens our engine mounts.
Plus, I feel their bracket will break before the engine mount will.
thanks steve. I suck at computer stuff, even following simple instructions

in my opinion unless you get crash bars they would do more harm than good in a moving crash by catching on something and or breaking the frame. the only thing most of these work for is the stationary or very low speed tip over.

Actually, bigdtd these work in lower speed get offs. seen a number of photos of track/race bikes that had the damage limited by these units. Seen the broken frames from the "other" style".
I was doing track days and wanted some low side protection.
Hell if you get off at speed the bike usually tumbles sooner or later anyway.
I painfully researched this on the 600.
I digress,
so zerotahero you got a answer and can see all the pretty caps you can get too for the looks thing.
Wish I could show you photos of the broken frames and engines from the kind that use what Steve mentioned. Would scare the crap outa you like it did Me.
