I have the GPR V4- used it last summer and fall with
no problems as leaks and such.
I'm not strapped, but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be an issue.

Here's a bad pic of it on the bike:

Mass, I may go with the GPR. If you can get a good pic from the side so I can see if the
strap will clear that would be great. Thanks.

I have GPR V4, but wouldn't work well with straps unless you do it over the bottom triple tree. If strapping, I'd use Brocks.

Mass, no problem.

Slates, is there not enough room under the damper? Could different brackets be
fabricated to facilitate use of the strap. Thanks.

where most straps come over the top part of the frame the mounting bracket has set screws that go on the top of that frame on each side of the front gas tank cover screw.

On my 12R I was able run a strap with the Scott's damper...it has only about 1/2" to slide the strap through. Is the GPR tighter to the steering head than that?

My Muzzy damper, with strap mounted:

Good quality, lots of pieces. I may be interested in trying another...

It's pretty tight, not much room, especially if you're doing slow turns.
