When I first got my 07/14 I did the pc , filter , pipe thing. I also took the flies out and installed a tre. I then got it dynod/mapped. I now hear Im better off removing Ivans propoganda !!! What I want to know is if I do remove the tre do I get a new map. Ive read this whole forum and cant work this one out . Sorry I know you hate bringing up old issues. Doug Mackay Australia.

No map change needed, as long as the map you have in there is the proper "Flies Out" map. The flies-out TRE008 simply makes the bike think its in neutral so that it adds fuel on decell so you can cut back on decell popping. The flies-still-in TRE006 (?) however, makes the bike think its in 6th gear which causes the flies to open sooner, so if thats the one you got you can toss it since your flies are already out.

Most members on here would just advice you to throw ANYTHING made by Ivan in the garbage FYI...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o_ojT_43FHM This is more for a visual understanding of the hack. And no, it's not Ivan's deal that has made the grade. It is not reading the FSM is get caught up in the hack up back step is backup is up against the wall is just your normal flash in the pan... All subtle teas along day way.

You smell some tin fish sea? Oh, the tin was just some solder iron it out, fella. It's not that complex is reverse the, 'click engineering' is all. And the time is, "Waste Year Time Bandit" the banner is out you click on that video is your wasted 5 so and so minutes is it my fault you clicked on it?

Tell me ignition retard and I will bring up an old advancer with some vacuum advance is a car or the springs on an old set of points on a bike of old. Does the engine retard the springs or care what gear it is in? I rest my case is over rich the bitch. Look at the dyno A/F ratio fatten her up at the top end. Limp it with more rich and you are out of your HP window is cool her down a little. Make sense of am I going nuts you telling me one think and I think of another as in basic steps.

Like, I am about to listen to a theory of Eye Vans? Eye have a pair is use them is flip day code page is.

Better off to remove it? Why? No need to remove since you bought it for flies removed. As Sticks said, you have it to keep from backfiring. If you want the gear selector back then remove it.

I am installing a M14 and I will try riding with and with out the Ivans TRE008 and see if it pops.It had Muzzy Slip ons when I got it. I don't care if I loose a tenth or so at the Drags. Daily driver stock wheel base. I did not get the TRE box when I got the 14. Owner/neighbor that got it new and installed all the mod's swears it's a TRE008 that shows N all the time on gear indicator, And with it out the Muzzys popped on decel. installed and quiet. Flys out and mapped for set up then. Changing map and now M14. I need to email Ivans and ask for info on sale to friend. If it does Not pop it does not matter what # it is to me. This is the second post saying this about the TRE008.( that I have seen) :-) If there is one better I will sell this one.
