move it up a notch on your rear lowering link or make some room. shane's build thread explored this area extensively.

cheap way....Adams straight link rocker arm, will give your shock more leverage, prevents bottoming under load..

expensive way... have your shock shortened, revalved and respring

http://www.schnitzracingstore.com/catalogs/catalog.asp?prodid=4942958&showprevnext=1

$185
Schnitz sells em, not so much for height but leverage ratio changes so the bike won't waste as much energy squating compressing the spring off the line, unloading the tire on the shift, and altering the balance and traction....
way cheaper than a shock...

Smokin did you rivet in place? If the tire hits that palte hard enough, won't that slow you down more than need be?

also a note, with the Adams straight link, you will need to buy Adams lowering links, or some that are made to be used with the straight link (shorter)

I have been 1.34 60 foot with it rubbing ...It doesn't rub for long or that hard either ...I don't think it slows me down but i could be wrong .. I will take a picture of it and it post later ... The plate bolts in where your old mud flap was ... No drilling or pop rivets...

Nope ... The undertail drain hole does leave a light mark on the swing arm but the pump is fine ..Don't forget i only weight 150 pounds .. With a 200 pound rider all bets are off ..
