WTF! Where is my left lower fairing???

Went for a ride today. Roads weren't too bad, still some salt/sand. Went out @ 10am and rode for a few hours with a friend. Then continued with others for more riding. At lunch, someone says "when did you go down"? I'm like "what, I didn't go down or get hit". He says my left side lower fairing is half gone! I don't know how or when it went today but it had a jagged edge and the right side seems ok but I didn't check where the screws connect the two. The oil filter is ok and the pipe is fine.
Any ideas on best place/price for left side or possible both?
Thanks

did the lower bolts rattle out?
They are famous for being the fist bolts to loosen on the bike...

One more item to add to my pre-ride check list, go round the bodywork with an Allen key.

No it was actually broken/cracked off and I didn't hit anything. I was actually riding ahead so someone behind should have seen something.

I love this story = tlak about the blinding effect of cabin fevor and being totally consumed by the ride........ I have run out of gas twice in that scenerio - of course that was on a Harley - they are a bit more comfortable.
