Run for the Sun - NY to Florida
Yesterday I set off on my longest solo run to date.
I left NY around 4:30 AM and it was 6 degrees and today I'm waking up in 50 degree weather with a high of 80.
Over 1000 miles in 16 hrs.
What a difference a day makes, LOL.
I'm headed over to the Daytona Race Track around 4pm, If you're in the area holla @ me.

It helps when there is another bike around to motivate you, gotta love rollons with people you'll probably never see again, To bad the bike gets a liitle shaky with the bags on.

The ride was pretty uneventful with the exception of hitting a gas station with no gas. I found out the hard way that I can still go 1.5 miles after restarting the bike when the bike cuts off from running out of gas. NC state troopers need bigger lettering on their trucks, LOL. Happy to say I did not get any type of tickets on this trip, but was stopped once cause my tail lights were out, I forgot to hit a switch. Even though they used to race on Daytona Beach times have changed and riding on the beach is not a good idea, Ask me how I know .
I was able to shave of an hour on the return trip, less fluids, skipped a snickers bar, and was so happy to be back NY I held a high rate of speed.
