I took mine off the horn itself, just unplugged it and added a connector to fit it.

You should run the power from the shifter up to where the horn is, and I can't remember which side it was but unplugg it, and put a connector onto the wire from the shifter and plug em up

I understand the frustration! I didn't actually hook mine up, I watched. So when it comes to that I can't help much, but be patient, someone here can give you better advice than me

The horn wire that does not do anything is the horn ground from the horn button. Run that wire to the common "C" or "com" on the toggle switch. run another wire from one of your other terminals of the tog. switch to the horn and the other tog sw. terminal to the airshift stuff. All this means is your horn activation is ground wires instead of 12v hot.

Some people have their bike mixed or are just guessing.
You can't hook the hot side to anything. use a test light to figure which is hot.
The ground side only goes ground when you push the button. (this is your wire)
I think the key has to be on.
You can test your horn assembly by hooking your horn back up with no other wires attached to it anywhere and blow your horn. If that works................................................................
Run a FUSED 12v wire (battery or fuse box) to one side of the shifter, and the horn ground wire to the other.
Turn key on and hit the horn. test with no air pressure you will hear it click when you hit the button. What kill box are you using?
Sorry you can't use the + from the horn because it's always hot reguardleess of button push.

once you get that to work
you can put a shifter/horn switch in the ground wire.
1. run one wire from the horn ground wire to the center of the switch,
2. one side of the switch goes to the horn
3. the other side goes to the shifter.
You can leave the 12v + side on the horn as it is not used.

no diagram needed.
once you get the shifter wired,
get the quick shifter software , and load it into your powercommander.
then use the same ground wire (horn) put another wire "T" to the pc.
enjoy.
