Request, For those with a Front End Strap
My bike is in a million pieces, but I need to get the forks lowered.
What I am looking for is a bike with the tubes in stock position, with stock front fender, and a lowering strap.
I'm hoping someone can pull the strap down to approx. 1" clearance between the fender and under the fairing. Then measure and/or photograph the amount of fork slider that is still exposed.
This will help me determine how much to have my forks lowered internally. Thanks for any help.

Compton, I can't see the slider very well in that picture (too dark). Do you have one that might show the slider better? Thanks...

I'm looking for a pic of the lower leg...I need to see how much of the telescoping portion (shiny part) of the leg is visible when it is strapped down...
Got anything like that?

How 'bout this? If you can't read it, it is a hair over 2 1/2 inches.
