Who is the most hardcore zx14 owner?

After seeing specialzx14's post where he is working on his bike in the kitchen, it prompted me to write this thread. Who really is the most hardcore zx14 owner?

Right off the bat, I'm going to vote for myself. I have 6 roommates, and I live in the garage of our house (life of a college bum). I knew when I purchased the bike I wouldn't be able to afford anything else. I would say that 95% of my income goes towards my bike, insurance, rent and food. That's called devotion! And most importantly, I sleep with my motorcycle. Here are some pics.... forgive the mess

i'm up there too. only a few hundred miles on my bike, and i'm doing possibly the most finicky extended swing arm install.

Does owning 2 ZX-14s count toward being "hardcore"???

Here's a pic of my 2nd project.

When i bought my new home, i didnt have a garage . Told my girlfriend i was bringing my 14 in the living room. She threatened to leave if that happened. It was a hard choice.

the only time i've driven a car since i got my bike is when my wife or daughter are with me. i've had it since october of 07, was deployed for 6 months, and still managed to put 11k on it. oh yeah, and i ride it to work EVERY day... rain or shine.

while i was deployed i would stay on the ship in port to save the money for parts instead of going out and partying. that's hardcore.

6 Years ago when my wife and I were looking for a new home I added double doors at the front of the house to the list of must have’s.

Since then I have been parking my 14 (and my 12 before it) in the living room of my house for 6-7 months a year (all winter), so it doesn’t get cold and I can “work on it” until the snow melts…

Note: This year I purchased a new 2008 ZX650 for my wife for our anniversary… It gets to stay in the garage!

Life of a college bum doesn't look so bad, roll out of bed jump on the bike and go. Just remember where you come from, my wife still tries the bikes need to go and I need to grow up arguement. I am quick to point out that she used to like it when I would pick her up on my bike when we were dating. Then I jab, I will even let her choose which bike I ride to the divorce hearing!

Don't tempt fate.......you might see her riding away from divorce court on the other.

I polished my wheels on the kitchen table if that counts? I used to sleep next to my 636, now i keep the 14 at my mom's in the garage, i live in apt also, most of my income goes to rent, food, girlfreind, and my zx14! But it makes me happy, so thats what counts.

Hmmmm...Not sure where you are at Valentino, I mean Bob, but I think I'll vote by territory.
Northwest should be a fight between Gilberjj and Sticks
West Coast has to be owned by Bawls
Northeast I think I may go with Shane
Southeast is owned by the one and only Smokin'
and around Texas and Louisiana, I'd have to go with Ninjaboy with a little Halvefast thrown on the side...

This IS getting to be a loong ass winter in some quarters!
Goofy thread Gil but I like it.

Dont know if this counts to you all.

4 months after leaving my 600 at 120, (broken leg, shattered clavicle, serious bone bruise on hip)
I took off my leg brace, put on my leathers and did a track day on the 14.
When I found myself stuffing a couple of Buell riders in turn one at Portland International, I figured I was cured.
Took off leathers and collapsed. Buddy had to help me back into old sweats and that f^ckin brace.
I was in a chair, loaded on stinkin pain meds with full leg cast 3 weeks prior to the track day.
Couldnt let the bike inspector or staff see me until I was suited up. My Bud teched the bike for Me. I couldnt push it.
Aint no biggy though, done worse and know many hard core riders and racers who have done the same.

!8,000 miles on Big Red in Western Washington with 13 months lost to work travel or injury.
