Road... Still in break in, I will be riding it on the fast side though. It seems a little soft to me and I do not fully understand how to keep all three of the adjustments even. I want to stiffen the bike up some.

Hate to break it to ya, but unless you weigh about 150lbs, it is undersprung and under dampened...
Fiddling might help, but it won't cure the wallowy sport tour feel.

gimme a clue on the aftermarket goodies.... This softness is uneasy in the corners... Now thats it's had its 600 mile service done I took some time to open it up a little and damn it really makes your stomach tighten up when you go hard into a turn...

sticks n stones is very pleased with his racetech stuff, said he replaced the stock rear shock immediately on his ZX14
race tech stuff can be seen here: http://www.racetech.com/evalving/english/Srchpr.asp?bikeid=319&manufacture=Kawasaki&model=ZX-14&year=06-08&TABLEINFO=street&langname=english

I'm 190 lb without gear. Here's my settings:
Rebound Damping(small, gold, slotted set screw on top of fork, both sides) - 5 clicks up from bottom. This is the stock setting.
Preload (black part that the rebound adjuster goes through) - 7mm high. Stock is 4-9mm.
Compression Damping (Small set screw with slotted head on fork near front axle, both sides) - 10 clicks out from bottom. This is the stock setting.
Ninja-14 (who we have not heard a peep from lately) had a really nice tutorial on the now deceased forum about suspension tuning. He is also 190. He recomended these settings as his prefference. I think I am going to go closer to his because the above setings seem a little soft.
Rebound 3 clicks up
Preload 5 lines (don't know how many mm this is but you can count the little lines on the adjuster)
Compression 7 clicks out
I have not adjusted my rear shock because it feels fine to me. Here is what Ninja had to tell us about the rear suspension if you want to play around with that.
Rebound Damping - 1 turn from botom or maybe a tiny bit more than 1. Stock is 1.5 turns.
Compression Damping - 1/2 turn from bottom. Be careful because this might be pretty tight for a bumpy road. First try closer to stock setting which is 2 1/4 turns.
Preload - Don't mess with it. Should show about 9 threads above the adjuster. There is no stock setting.

Revalve and respring both ends.
Race tech, or ohlins equipment... IMO
I could never get the wallow out of it... sprung too soft with damping curves to match the stock springs...
