gm 3 bar and hub setup

I keep hearing about turbo bikes with this setup.
Can anyone tell any details, when it's needed, why it's better.
How it's wired. Any other details?

I'm still learning turbo's myself. The more power/boost you want, the more advanced the electronics and engine work thats needed. A simple stage 1 low boost kit on a stock motor is one thing.....when you start adding multi stage boost controllers/map sensors/hubs/igniton retards ect you usually do that on fairly heavily modified motors. It all depends on what you're shooting for with your bike. You won't need those on a stage 1 kit on a stock motor.........but anything more and you will

The FMU supplied with most kits will take up the fueling on various boost levels, but to fine tune the drivability, you are on the right path using the 3 bar map sensor and the hub.

I am not familiar with that set up, have not used it or wired it,but did read about it when I had the hub and LCD.
I also can not state how reliable it is.
Some have had problems with the hub or LCD, such as flyboy and a few others including myself.
You still need the FMU preferably rising rate not 1:1,
1:1 is used if you are running a custom 2nd fuel rail and 8 injectors.
However, the hub is appears to be one of the least expensive ways to refine the fueling on boost, and the stock injectors will be sufficient for about 330 HP with ~ 100 psi fuel pressure.
