Rubber ducky, you're the one!

I have a few helmets but unfortunately none of them come with removable liner pads. I know, I know, jump into the 21st century already. Anyway, when I bought my RF1000 from Cycle Gear not too long ago they suggested I buy this foam helmet cleaner for stinky helmets, and it was pretty high priced. I'm sure it works because these are some honest guys, but can't I just use Woolight Heavy Duty Traffic foam cleaner, or something similar to do the trick? I don't want my face melting off, or anything.

Seems pretty expensive for my needs. I just want to Febreeze the thing, or something, but I do not wish to break out in a rash to find out.

that might be a problem

the "smell" is bacterial growth... you're kinda stuck with this one option?

I would think neutraliziers are fairly mild to begin with because they are designed to be used on furniture and delicate materials, no?

I guess you're taking about febreze and those other aromatics that just "mask" the odor
