What do you think of this tire? Bike Bandit's having a helluva sale on these tires. $168. for a set.

drag racers may disagree with me - but I'd rather be riding on a Michelin Pilot Powers or 2CTs with threads showing in the middle than have Shinkos under me.

I'm on my second set of 2 CT's now and love them but they are pricey, those aren't. Maybe there's a reason for that.

If you ride on the edge of traction, I'd go with the Michelins. Since you posed the question, I'm guessing you don't. You will likely get many trouble free miles out of the Shinko's.

I've used numerous 003's on the street and strip with no troubles.

It's almost time for a new front tire on my bike... it's a shame since I've only got 7800 miles on my 005 front I love it, but I don't ride the edge of traction.

i only got 6k out of my front (time to change NOW) and ive ran probably 10 or more shinkos and i like em, dont do to many twisties, but a good cheap tire to burn off at drag strip with traction in a straight line
