new goodies
In the next day or so I'm going to order my extensions, chain, brake line, power commander, and air filter. Got more tax money back than I expected, so gonna "throw it away" on my bike is what my girlfriend says. I think I'm using it very wisely!!! I haven't done much research on pricing, which ones, etc. I'm assuming the pc 3 is the way to go there.. The chain is another question I don't know about. My driveway is about 1/2 mile long dirt, so I think a o ring chain would be a better choice there, but opinions are appreciated!!!

better to throw the money at the bike than at her... the bike won't run away when the money is gone... LOL
When my wife and I were dating all she got was the bone and food for the exercise!
She kept hanging around and never asked for anything but love.
I thought she was a keeper.... been 16 years now!

Go with Exoticycle Swingarm extensions, D.I.D gold ERT chain which is o-ring and a galfer brakeline.
Johnny does a package for $615.00 extension, chain and brakeline

I went with Roaring toyz extenstions... Ricky Gadson puts them on all his bikes at his school, so you know they are of good quality if hes using them, also went with a EK ZZZ 530 chain 150 pin and a goodridge +6 brake line but the brake line is really tight so if i had to do it over again i would get a galfer brake line. differences on chains go to Schnitzracing.com they give a good description of all the chains.

Someone here had a problem with the Roaring Toyz as far the brake hanger...
Does anyone recall that?

going to order my stuff tomorrow so i can get it on this weekend ready to go to the track the next! thanks for the info. i actually found these extensions from ALL THINGS CHROME that go to 9''.... and their &$75 cheaper. talked to mike there and seemed really helpful... and he was $25 cheaper on the chain than what roaring toyz, and they were the same chain, so $100 cheaper.

You dont need a brake line. I have my bike 6 over and the stocker has a bunch more room in it. All you need to do is rotate the hose fitting on the caliper.
I also run the zzz and have had no issues with it.

I'ver heard that you don't need a new brake line. I used a +6" line, and it came out pretty clean:

I'm sure you can route the stock piece another way, but I like the way the +6" fits.
Spencer Cycle extensions. $225 and have held up to dragracing and landspeed racing use. Nicely made and very good customer service.

Ordered my extensions from allthingschrome.com and got pc for 250 shipped. Tried to go through schnitz but connie there was the BIGGEST ASSHOLE. I ended up getting a chain guard and a 43t sprocket from them but if she ever answers the phone I won't be wasting another minute on my phone!

Shot of stock brake line with extensions. Extensions are Myrtle West, great price and solid.

I was going to get the myrtle west extensions but they were out of stock.I'm gonna try and go 8" first, then if it isn't what I want I'm going to shorten it to 6". I know everyone goes around 6, just thought while the chain was long, I would go ahead and go as far back as I could and work my way shorter

Wow,
I have dealt with Connie for years and never an issue.
strange....
In fact I hold everyone at Schnitz in the highest regard... right up there with Brock.
Did you ask her what was wrong.... sometimes all you need to do is make them stop and think for a second...
everyone has bad days...
anyway I aint no counsellor ans not about to start...
carry on!
As far as the brake line and routing.... a short straight cable is more direct, but less progressive in feel generally...
A curved one (like stock) slows and dampens the fluid even just so slightly ...
I prefer the curved route, as an insensitive rear brake can lead into slides and highsides...
I generally never use the rear on the street except emergencies, and all of us tend to stomp it when we over react to a hazard...
Just a bad motocross habit for me... brake slides on pavement are bad news...
