Use plain old Dot4 in a sealed container like the cap says. I just did mine at 4K about. Anything else like syn is overkill. Dump both brake and clutch lines while you are at it. Bleed the left front first. Just open the nipple and pump. Keep the master topped off. Once the brake fluid looks clear, pull the lever and hold; tighten the nipple. Release brake lever and feel the pedal. It should be tight, bubble free and not compress air but fluid. Do the same with the right caliper is leave it open and keep pumping till clear. That press and lock the nipple every time you pump is for squids.

use dot4
the dot 5 is not compatible with dot4,
any residual dot 4 will gell with the dot5.

All DOT 4 is synthetic. DOT 5 is a silicone fluid. Go get some plain DOT 4 and you'll be fine. Why are you changing the fluid? I would leave it alone unless it's black.
