New ZX14NINJA.COM ?
Type in zx14 forums and this site is at the top with a copy of the site someone is trying to make. Not sure what to make of it.

Ya Google. It's at the top. I joined but the site is kind of weak as far as features go, I hope it can get better in time.

there have always been lots of very small 14 sites... you could spend days joining all of them - there's even one all in french.
everyone's here now.

That site is one that I put up to see if the zx14ninja.com folks might want to build up a new community pretty much like they one they had before. I was a member of that community and I really miss it.
If it works, it works. If not, I'll shut it down. I have no interest in making any money from it, or in interfering in any way with conversations that anyone wants to have there.
And yes, it can be enhanced. We can make it be whatever everyone wants it to be. -bg

How the hell does a no-name startup site get ranked #1 in google???? How much did it cost you to have the hackers attach your site name to all those web pages?
If I was you Fish, I would slam this post into the garbage can where it belongs. Coming to YOUR site and trying to blatantly pull your members to his site. You got WAY more restrain than I do!

I think the members can choose where they want to post. Is it about freedom of choice, or advertising dollars? I don't think anyone is trying to "pull" members away. There can be more than one site, you know.

Nope Shane, its pretty much always about money. I don't know how many thousands of dollars this guy spent to get his just started, bare bones website to come up #1 in search for Google, but I can guarantee you its not cheap! Or every single site would be trying it. Think it through: why spend that much money unless you are hoping to reap in the profits that the old website made???

what I like about this site is you can talk about anything...... zx14.net restricts what you can and can't say... I take that back, you can say anything as long as hpc sells that product and you are saying good things about it..... otherwise no go.
fish, i like zx14.com the best, except I wish there were different topics..... not just one page

So, Sticks, you advocate removing this thread because there is mention of another ZX-14 site?
Interesting. Are you getting a kickback?

funny you mention that... seeing as though there are so many new members, let me take this post and hijack it... I only have about 50 ZX-14.com ballcaps left.. it costs me about $10 each to mail them, let alone make them, (I paid for them out of my own pocket) but I'd be willing to send them out for the cost of shipping only for all the new members....
if people are interested I'll get freek to update the store...
anyone in?
link to store and hats:
http://www.bikeland.org/shop.php

and to sticks... to get that google placement you literally have to pay them... they arent showing up based on any sort of rank.. it's based on them paying google.

Fish already answered this above, but let me provide a very quick lesson to the less-than-websavvy users:
Notice the entries at the top of a google search often have a slightly different background color. And that the box formed by that background includes the words "Sponsored" link. Those are ads the site paid for. It's exactly like the narrow column of ads that run down the right side on many search result pages. The ones at the top just happened to pay more (tho "pay more" is a complex definition) than the others.

shirts are sold out - paid for all of this stuff from my own pocket, and though I would love to give you a hat for free - it literally costs me $10 per hat to pack, ship and send each hate, plus cost me another $10 to make each hat.
Our store isn't about making $$ - it was just about getting some gear out to other 14 owners... no profit being made....
you're kidding me that you won't even pay for shipping for a hat?
come on, bro! not cool.
