Any brand pipe besides BROCKS will not work on a 14, they look BAD,sound Bad, run Bad, make no power, and will probely make your bike handle Bad and fall apart, not to mention BAD quality and customer service!!!
So beware only buy BROCKS pipes for your 14!!!

Stu... stop being a douchebag
If the pipe makes awsome power, has the best customer support, and turns the fastest times then Why not call it the best? You've only got bad things to say about brocks... what good things do you have to say about the pipe that you're running there Mr. smarty pants? lol

43k and you are just putting a pipe on it? j/k if you like the pipe get it, if you want more power get a brocks,muzzy,tsukigi,ti-force,area-p. all of those would be solid choices..

Erm... area p is slipon so it probably won't make as much power, but customer support is top notch.

Bruno I'm running a Yosh TRC full system with Titanium Can on my 14 and the instructions and fit and finish are second to none. I also think it looks great!!! The bike is still quiet at idle but is plenty loud when you twist the throttle. Shoot me an email at epd345@yahoo.com and I will send you a pic.

+1 I love the Yosh CF full system, with the baffle in place it sounds great with a throaty growl but only gets loud when you twist the throttle...
Fit and finish are excellent, and my seat of the pants Dyno gives it a big thumbs up!
Note: there is a removable baffle but I have yet to take it out.

I have the 08+ R-77 slip on system, Very nice fit and finish, great part support when i put a ding in the sleeve they were more than happy to help me get a replacement titanium sleeve and all the hardware sent to my door fast. And for a slip on there was a nice gain down low, and way up high in the rpm range. With out the low noise insterts it make's pleanty of noise for me. Shed a lot of weight to. And as far as looks go It looks great! One of the best looking you can get, goes very nice with the zx's lines and sharp corners. I get lots of compliments on it.

I heard a yosh system and it sound like an aggressive stock bike. Mine now sounds like a race bike with the muzzy m10. If you want a more audible growl, get the yosh! Probably the most popular exhaust company, so they are obviously doing things right.

This is not meant to slam anyone as every bike is personal and the choices they make are personal on what to put on it. Some people just dont like loud exhausts or its not practical for where they live. Sacrificing a few hp on top to loose 10 or more db is well worht it for many people.

but is sacrificing 850 dollars for an exhaust that sounds almost like the stock one, and gains very little performance worth it... that's the question. Unless you just really like the look of the r-77 I say get a streetsmart system. If you decide later on that you want more sound, buy a conversion kit for it.

Are there performance enhancement… yes, is there a look cool factor enhancement definitely (I never could get used to a bike with two mufflers, just seams wrong).
As for the sound, the fact that it is close to stock is one of the reasons I purchased it. Some of the best roads around my neck of the woods are in western Quebec…
The Police there have no sense of humor and hate bikes, anything making noise is off the road in a heart beat (it’s is compounded if you are a dumb Anglo that doesn’t speak French and has an out of Prov tag).

the streetsmart makes great power and sounds plenty mellow. but hey you did wait 43000 miles to make a change, get what you want. the things that matter to me are service, support ,and of course, performance. nobody will slam anyone for picking the pipe they like. seems like performance is not a priority here.

The fact that is sounds close to a stock one with a little more rumble is a plus. Loud pipes draw attention from the cops around here. I dont mind a racing exhaust but the drag pipes are ridiculously loud at well over 100 decibals, 108db for the alean head. The weight savings are still there and its nice looking pipe that you still gain 10hp on without loosing the low end power.
