Here are videos of the Gen3, Gen3 shorty, and R-77... I couldn't find a video of a zx14 with an R77 so I used a Busa. They're close to the same noise level.

i have had winning, bub, denco, vance and hines, brocks, and even a skyway downpipe, but no yosh. i had friends with yosh but my stuff ran better. its ok if you or someone else prefers yosh tho. and yes i installed those. also what pipe did you have on your 14 whan you had a 14. answer: brocks. now that you went back to the dark side (suzuki) you like yosh.

I dont disagree about the power, but if you have never installed a Yosh how can you disagree about their quality? ive installed Yosh, Hindle, Akra, Kerker, D@D, Bassani, DG, Leo Vince, Tsukigi, and Ti-Force, all of these are better quality than the Hindle

i am not going to install something i don't like the looks or appearance quality of, much less inferior performance. but it is true i would know more about them if i had one. buy me one and i will put it on and give you an honest asessment. the newer metal cans i saw on my friends bike just looked so cheap. the carbon fiber looks ok. my 21/2 year old brock smeg looks like new and runs like a bat out of hell.

That looks sharp. It matches the lines of the bike real nice. Does the dual sound different than the single?

That’s one great looking muffler… In my opinion the second best looking muffler out there just behind the Yosh Carbon Fibre!

Even from the picture you can tell that the build quality is excelent… But what can you expect from a company that spends more on R&D every year that there next two closest competitors.

hoopie, Yes The dual slip on R-77 sounds very deep and mellow over the single full r-77. And the dual system does a good job of making the tail section not look so bloated from behind.

07zx14blk, I agree the carbon fiber looks the best, but my bike is the midnight blue and I thought the carbon fiber was just to dark, it just gets kinda blended in with all the black parts on the back of the bike. And carbon fiber will fade over time from heat and UV light, and you cant re finish Carbon fiber. While Titanium wont fade, also you can re finish the Ti very quickly with a scotch brite pad to remove scuffs from shoes ect (a lot of these chicks I pick up are not to carefull of there foot placement..lol). I know it sounds funny but do it right and its amazing how well it works, it will look just like new.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!DO NOT USE SWING ARM SLIDERS/SPOOLS WITH THE R-77 SLIP ON SYSTEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I remove mine before I ride, I use them only for lifting the bike, they will hit the bottom of the cans and smash them. I found out the hard way.

Also if your looking for more power and want the dual system look, with the 08+ having 50% bigger exhaust diameter. You could knock out the cat material, have a it coated, then have have it dyno tuned. I bet it would make good numbers.. I will do it in a few weeks myself as soon as I get my bike back togather from powder coating some parts.

To each his own, but I love my full system R77. Lots of weiight loss and lots moire power. A good map makes it even better. I've never had the plug in and it sounds great to me especially when I open it up
I get lots of compliments on the system.

43k and you are just putting a pipe on it? j/k if you like the pipe get it, if you want more power get a brocks,muzzy,tsukigi,ti-force,area-p. all of those would be solid choices..

Look at the Dyno charts on Ivans Performance. He used the same ZX-14 for all the tests,
The Tsukigi and the Yosh both made about 7 more HP after 7000 RPM over stock, but the Tsukigi was down on torque and HP over stock from 3to5000 RPM, The Akrapocic was better than the other two making 2 more HP peak more at 11,000 and better mid range. But the Yosh made more HP and Torque in the mid range than all tested and just down 2 peak, And Quiet. I want to see a Brocks Gen3 with 20 inch muffler before I spend $$ on a full system, I purchased my ZX-14 the way it is with the Muzzy slip on's PCIII flys out and TRE and it made 6 HP less peak HP than the best full system tested and it has the best mid range HP and Torque than any of the full systems tested.........I get laughed at as I still have slip on's( for now) a bigger back sprocket helped more than a pipe.
