what's with the R
Does the 14 have an "R" anywhere in the model description as in ZX 14R? I haven't seen one. I see it alot when buying stuff and looking on Ebay ect. just wondering

r for retard as in they dont know the actual name of the bike. if Kawi makes a zx14r everyone will know about it. (and dare i say love it even more than the current zx14?)
the 14 is an awesome bike, it just doesnt have the r

Does it actually make the Arrrrrrrrrgh sound or do you need to get a specific muffler for that?
A pirate bike sounds cool... do you get to wear an eye patch?

Right now it has stock mufflers so it makes more of a "____________" sound lol. I don't really care too much for the pirate suit so I usually just rock the Gorilla mask and banana hammock .

What should I call my ZX14 since it has no decals? A stripped R? A naked R? Funny how many people ask me what my ZX14 is since there are no identifying decals on it.

Because if you dont even know what freaking model number your machine is, you shouldn't be owning one.. Calling a GSX-R a gixxer has been going on for over 20 years. Its a colloquial term. Unlike ZX14R which is just plain wrong. People think that since there was a ZX6R, ZX7R a ZX10R and a ZX12R that is naturally follows that there is a ZX14R. Kind of like people calling an 86 Ninja 1000R a ZX10. Nope completely different animal....
