I use the Michelin Pilot Power 2CT and find them really great for all types of rideing. I get good mileage out of them as well.

Disagree..... I'm on qualifiers and I rode on them for the first time yesterday (edit: rode them hard for the first time). They were AWESOME! Check out my vid! They take longer to get warm, but holy crap are they good when warm! The bike literally feels glued to the road!

Love those Pirelli Corsa III's !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GR8 at trackdays and on the street.
Running the Dunlop StreetSmarts for the winter and like them better than the Pirelli Stradas. They warm up much faster (a few deliberate hard braking and take offs is enough) and ride softer than the "brick" Stradas. Also great in the wet.
Have the Qualifiers on the 600 track bike and they suit it well. Quick warm up, easy turn in and STICK!! I can leave long blackies exiting corners if I really wanted to. Don't think they will hold up as well as Corsa III's.
Havent needed to try other brands as the Pirelli's hold up well to the track and my normal riding.
A 3,000 tour toasted a set that had "only" 3 track days( 400miles at SPEED) and 1,500 street miles before I took off. Not bad, 5k of trashing and still gripped and rode fair
I am much easier on tires than most guys though.for whatever reason.

At the pace you were going through the curves, you could have had bicycle tires on and it wouldn't have mattered.

Whats weird about that statement? 2 CT's are a very good compromise between all out adhesion and longevity.

So thats what Highway 7 looks like!!!!!!!!!!!!! Never went that slow to notice.
The badass thing to do is head south on 7 into the NF roads around St. Helens on your 14. Moss, wash outs and switchbacks from Hell. Its better suited for a BMW 800 but it rocked my 14.
I'll see if I can get one of my kids to put my cell phone videos on this thread.
Big 90 MPH slides on one lane mossy tarmac one handed!!! (had to hold the phone ya know)
It was way too fun.
If some of you SoCal Bikelands come to Gods country I can give you some roads you'll never forget.
Oh, back to the thread.
Dude you cant go wrong with the Mich's or Pirellis from what I gathered and experienced.
All the 14 guys who ride Michelins swear by them.
17,000 miles and a dozen or so track days on Pirellis has Me happy with them for mine.

How many miles equates to "good mileage" for you? Better yet, how does you mileage of the Power 2CT compare to other tires you have used?
