Hallmark? I thought you were at Texas Aero Tech?....... Problem was some of these clowns thought they could go out in the field and actually do aircraft welding........not! Only a repairmen employed at a repair station holding the right rating can do that. What year were you at Hallmark? The guy sounds familiar....especially part about telling stories! LOL!

Kruz

Went to both....Hallmark for A and moved to Dallas so took the P at TAT and liked that place more.

A/C welding is some skill.....like underwater - better be DAMN GOOD.

That guy had the class that was the little shed across from the front door. There was his room ...a small parking lot...then the welding shed next to the front office.

Maybe you will remember Fina......the girl that helped do the resumes and stuff....Damn was she Hot.

dood... those "silver" fillings are made from mercury!!! I had all mine switched out about 15 years ago!

You know, now that you mention it, I seem to remember hearing something like that at some point. I'll have to ask in a couple weeks when I go back to have the other side of my mouth done. Mercury is liquid at normal tempetures. Maybe a mercury/silver alloy?? It could not possibly be pure merc or all us nonflouride kids would be dead long time ago.

We have a dentist who posts once in a while on the other forum, any around here?

I like the ceramic/composite fillings. None of the heat /cold sensations like the metal fillings.

I think that's what I got. Nice and white. I have a bit of pain when I eat something cold but I expect that will go away.

Site isn't crashed KRUZ...it's gone -- they couldn't get rid of you so they killed the site...the DNS servers are now pointing to a new domain. Looks they forgot to pay their bills, as 1BAD said...idiots.

I don't think so. Domains by Proxy is a registar of web sites that keeps the true owner of the sites private information private.

I was thinking of buying the domain name, and may still......I have it locked in if it comes up.

Now what do you think it's really worth??

I offered to buy the site twice back in 06 when it was still kinda small. It is (or was) owned by a small web building company and they seemed not interested in anything other than letting it exist as a sample of their product.

One would prob be better off with Kawi site instead of 14only site....from a biz standpoint.

Well, for $18.99 backorder, I'll give it a shot. And before anybody gets any bright idea's, Go Daddy only allows one backorder for the site, which I have.

What sucks is that they have 45 to 60 days to renew the site, if it doesn't renew, I get it. If it does, I'm out the money, which I can only use to backorder another site.

What I don't understand is why they never persued more advertising for that site? It has plenty of members, and they could have offered some discounts to members of the site.

Maybe I'm out of my league here, but we'll see what becomes of it. I understand that it's just the domain name, no website, or forum software, etc. I just think more could be done. I like the format, and the "feel" of the site.

correct - the site remains a marketing tool for them - i've said this before...

Not much -- unless you can generate a lot of ad revenue, which I doubt will be the case. This is still one of the top visited sites for Kawasaki, AFAIK.

Save your money, or send it to the ragheads in the Gaza strip (like Obama did) if you really want to waste cash -

Getting the name won't mean much if you don't own the site---->the posts that thave been made in the VB software. I wanted not just the name, but to have it all so we (members) could control it... ....to simply take over w/o the need for programming.

If you get the name we still have to start all over again and answer all those questions and post all those tits again :-)

since pretty much all the same info is here, and you're all members already, in essence you do all "control it"... this site is member driven and it's the world's largest ZX-14 website.

I'd say you're pretty safe here... maybe some of you should volunteer to be moderators - that might make you feel more at home? (that's "the more responsible of you )

but according to Greg at .net they're the largest zx14 website... He always points out that if you search for zx14 it's the first forum to pop up. What a tool lol. Too bad there's not any conversation going on over there and if you try to start one it gets deleted.

ya... I totally forgot about that guy...

it's pretty easy to tell that this site is statistically the largest ZX-14 community on the 'web . 'Bit of a no brainer... I'd put the ninja14 second and greg's ghost town a far distant 5th, or even lower prolly well behind 14 focus sections on dragbike + kawiforums etc.

True, BUT...........
Contacting the owners oneself or via a broker it may be possible to buy it from them before the time is up.......if one so desired.

FYI,

There is a site called www.websiteoutlook.com, that has a tool that will determine the worth of a website based on its number of hits…

- zx14ninja.com Estimated Worth $3350.7 USD
So if you can pick up the domain name cheep good for you…

To keep things in perspective:

- zx14.net Estimated Worth $2489.3 USD

While bikeland.org Estimated Worth $11504.8 USD (Note this is just the core sight and does not include zx14.org etc..).

With all sight’s included bikeland.org Estimated Worth $1.2 Billion USD... or was that google.com.
