I haven't tried any MRA windscreens. The MRA VarioTouring Extension Spoiler looks interesting as it attaches to your current screen giving added height. Thanks for asking your question, I hadn't seen that before.
I replaced a double bubble with a Zero Gravity Sport Touring (aka ST). This is the tallest one piece screen I have seen for the 14. I got a "second" from ZGØutlet for $55 plus $12 shipping. It had a very small scratch. Air hits about the top of my helmet visor, well made and holes line up.

I've never had any trouble with the factory windscreen. I scoot back on the seat and I can get tucked in pretty good. I'm 6'1 at 205 lbs. I don't see myself getting another one. I did think about getting a darker one, but I like the clear vision I have now.

+1 for the Zero Gravity ST screen. I'm set up as a super sport tourer and truly love that screen. One day last Aug I covered just over 1000kms in one day behind it and never could have accomplished that behind the stock screen. My neck would have been in traction for a month afterward!! Still have the stock seat but have bars raised 5" and back 3". Sitting fairly up right the wind blast strikes just about the top of the helmet at ? normal highway speeds. (80-90 mph) At really high speeds 140-150 mph tucked in a bit the vacuum created above the helmet lifts the helmet so strongly that the chin strap starts to strangle me!!! My 06 is black and the smoked screen looks GOOD!!

Windscreen
I am 6 ft 4 and got excessive wind buffeting with the stocker. I got a dark smoke Puig double bubble and that is perfect for me, especially on long trips.

I ran a stock screen 1650 miles in 3 days with day #2 being a 700 mile day from lubbock Tx to Tucson AZ. My bike had a ST on it when I bought it and I got rid of it the first chance I got. Just wasn't for me.

I have the PUIG. Does me good when I want to tuck even with the tank bag on. Good fit as well. No issues going on. Also comes with the safety strip which I sorta like for some reason, lol.

Butta,
I was looking at all the things that you have added to your ride and wanted to ask if the purpose of the Cox Radiator Guard, and if it restricts air flow to where you notice the engine running at higher temps? In Houston, we need all the air flow possible due to the higher ambient temperatures expecially during July, Aug, and Sept.

Purchased an MRA Windscreen
I purchased an MRA double bubble windscreen from Twistedthrottle this morning. The salesperson claimed that the factory windscreen is made by MRA. It was expensive compared to the other makes. I'll make another post when I get it to inform of quality, etc.

It keeps rocks from pitting your radiator. It doesn't affect my bike at all temperature-wise. As for reducing heat, you should look into the other methods as well like the engine ice, ZX-10 fender mod or the worst case scenario...the bypass fan switch.

Yes it restricts airflow. Mine made mine run hotter in city traffic. Added a switch to the fan and flick it on as soon as I get slowed by traffic or lights. No problems now.
My guard took a big rock and saved my big $$$ radiator.
