A few pics of my swingarm install

Well Im not finished yet, as you can see in the pics, but its on and I have decided on a length. I went with 64", I figured that would be a good starting point. I can always go shorter, which I dont think I will be doing, but who knows. If the bike goes as good as it looks I will be very happy. I love the kicked out look. And I cant wait for this saturday to come so I can test it out. Im hoping that I can run a 8.99999 on motor, but we will see. I also changed the front sprocket to a 16t and went back to my stock 41 rear. And I also threw on a 180/55 power race soft. So between the extra gear and 6 more inches Im hoping that I can get it done. Im pretty sure that I will be needing to revalve my rear shock and get a stiffer spring, the rear is soo soft now. Untill I can do that I think I might put the links in the second hole to keep the tire off the undertail. But we will see, Im going to go full stiff on the shocks compression and rebound and preload the spring a few more turns and see where that gets me.

I still need to ziptie the brake line to the arm, get the chain on and adjusted, mount my bottle, and get the front sprocket cover back on.

And I need to give a huge thanks to BAWLS, your my new hero for hooking me up with the service manual. With out that I would have been screwed. Thanks again buddy.

Well what do you guys think?

Im not sure I dont have a really good scale. It didnt feel much heavier than the stocker. But I think in my other post someone said that it was 11lbs or so? Im not sure though. Its a 32" arm which is the shortest arm they sell with a bottle bracket. I didnt need this much arm, but I wanted to run the bottle in the arm.

I wouldnt say a big difference. I was pulling mid 1.5 60's on the stock seat and with the drag seat Im usually in the low 1.5's and a best of a 1.50. So yes it helped, but I dont know how much. Everytime I go I feel like a learn a little more on the bike, so I guess Id have to switch back to the stock seat and see what I can pull on it.

Are you running a stock spring? Looks like you'll be rubbing pretty good when you launch it(with chain). Kidding, it looks damn good.

Nice looking bike I would like the arm better if it were underbraced it juust looks thin compared to the rest of the bike just my 2 cents not saying that its not a strong arm I just like underbracing.
