zx14 gas tank

I am replacing a smashed gas tank on a 2007 zx14 the new tank seems to have two more vent tubes marked with a red and a blue sticker, I think it is for California model.
Is ther some way I can bypass those tubes?? To make it work for the standard model?

THANKS

Had the same thing when I got another tank for my bike. Don't worry about them. Hook the fuel line up to the same spot as on your old tank and keep moving. They have no impact on the bike's operation. You can crimp them shut, attach them together using a small piece of rubber hosing or just leave them alone. Made no difference on my 14.

The far right hose is a fuel return for the vapor recovery system.....block it off. The one next to it is the tank breather, run the hose down closer to the bottom of the bike and leave it open...or even put some filter material over the end. The cali tank releases built up pressure through there instead of the cap like the 49 staters do. You plug it up you'll overpressurize or create a vacuum in the tank and have fueling probs. The cali tanks have a diff cap. The far left hose is just the overflow...hook it up just like your first tank was

Ive got a ca bike. And when I removed all the charcoal bs, I just left the red and blue nipples open, and havent had a problem yet. I figured that was my safest bet. Id hate to have the tank implode or worst explode lol.
