Need a service manual for a zook

Hey guys,

Anyone has a sevice manual for an 06-07 zook 600. I think 750 is the same also. I have a cooling fan problem. It doesn't come on but ran power to fan and it works. I don't know exactly where the relay is for the fan but the fuse is good. Also temp registers on dash. help if you can.

I know wrong place, but everytime that I have asked in here someone has had one.

Steve you got one for a zook

here is the electrical system illustrated. if this doesn't have the info you need, click the licks on the left. I'm still asking around, so far i got this web page info.

the whole bike is on microfiche on this web page: http://fiche.ronayers.com/Index.cfm/Module/Main/TypeID/26/Type/Motorcycle/MakeID/2/Make/Suzuki/YearID/47/Year/2006/ModelID/7539/Model/GSXR-600/GroupID/357043/Group/ELECTRICAL_

riding its fine but at light or idle it climbs to 195+. I stopped by a friend for about five minutes and started it back up to have the FI light on. ride up the street and turn the ingnition off then back on and light went off. At the next light is when I noticed it climbing. Got all the way to 205 when monitoring it in my garage. Fan never kicked on.

I will look over the link. thanks

my litre bike fan doesn't kick on till 220 degrees. and when it kicks on, TWO fans cool it down immediately and fans go of at around 215 degrees.

your bike may be fine?, mine is not close to kicking the fan at 205.

did the diagrams help you?

Hope this helps, its the real deal from a friend that is in the business of setting the gixxer 600's up for the track:

quote:
The fan does not come on till the bike is around 221 degrees and then off at 212 degrees. If it is not working in that range then it could be the temp sensor or the relay. The relay is on top of the air box. There are two relays there. The one on the left is for the fan.

I have a spare fan or two along with a few extra relays if your friend needs one. I believe I have one or two of the sensors also. Chances are the bike is just not getting warm enough for the fan to come on.

Ok, I promise not to post up about a gixxer again in this forum for at least a week :P

Steve that is absolute correct. It comes on at 220 and goes off at 212. I was thinking that was the issue since I seen he FI light come on at the same time I noticed the fan wasn't coming on. So my case was normal. Wonder what the FI light was for.

Thanks again
