Spool sliders Problem with R-77

I installed a set of T-rex spool sliders on my swing arm. After a short ride I was shocked to see that the spools were not clearing my new Yousimura titamium R-77 exhaust system. Smashed up the bottom of both cans. So beware of this if you have an aftermarker system. It cost me 120.00 for each sleeve, plus the badge's and rivets.

I had this same problem on my 14 when I lowered it for the track. Dinged up my old D&D slip-ons I used to have.

Thats funny!! lol. T-rex did send me some custom made low profile one's for me free of charge. And I will put a washer or too on the foot peg mount to move the cans out a smidge.

I like them, the only bad thing is that the Titanium stains and u have to use a scotch pad on them to remove the staining. But its EZ. I know that sounds like it would trash the finish but it doesn't if done right. The weight saving it about about 10lbs or more if i remember right. Love the sound, and as for power? On my bike there was a noctible power increase. Off idle is much better and the top end has improved a bit. I can easily get the front end up now in 2nd with no clutching now. So yeah on a all stock bike there is a nice power increase.
