Why do the 08s get all the nice cans?
I have been having a look round for slip ons and i really like the look of the ones with the conical style end caps but they seem to be for the 08 onwards bikes and mine is an 06. Does anyone other than Yoshi and 2 brothers (Heard they are a bit loud) offer cans like this for the 06?
Thanks
Scott

Hi Sgoaty, truthfully all the factory stuff is pure junk. the makers are bound by law to put such crap on the bikes.
Call Area P or Brocks and get the real deal.

I think he WAS referring to aftermarket pipes (cans) in his post. Not factory.

Who makes a conical system for the 08 but not the 06?
TiForce has conical slip-ons.
Area P has flat conical slip ons. (great company)
Two Brother and Yosh have the conical slip-ons.
Bruce Fab (look on Ebay) has conical slip-ons.
What are you looking for that you can't find?

Area P will even make them to your specs. They custom made this muffler for my Muzzy full system:

You can choose length, baffle size, end cap, can material, etc. with Area P. I give them my highest recommendation.

Im in the UK and with the exchange rate at the moment + import tax its not really worth me buying from the US Direct. Two brothers and yoshi are too loud for me and the rest aren't available in the UK.
The only other can makers I can find in the UK are Akro, Beowulf, Blue Flame, Devil, Leo Vince,Micron and Scorpion and none of them do conical end cans for the 06 (that i can see)

leo vince offers their "evo 2" slip-ons (with carbon end caps) for both the early and late zx-14.

have you tried giving them a call and asking if you can have a set made? It can't be too hard for them to change out the end caps on a set for the 06. Might be an option

They are a little to slim for my liking. I have found a deal on C/F scorpion cans £374 with a free paddock stand they normally retail at £625. Im seriously considering those. I may just have to do without the conical caps

I got my original scorpions swapped out because they were damaged by the hanger straps.
I ended up getting these back from them

My Kenny Roberts tuned exhaust I guess are a well kept secret since he has such a long history with Kawasaki. I am enjoying the fad of the fellowship of the above choices. Just my 2 cents.
