T-Rex Racing Motorcycle Stands?
I have a T-Rex Motorcycle Stand and I have this spool to go with it (that they recommended)
http://t-rex-racing.com/catalog.php?item=7&catid=20&ret=catalog.php%3Fcategory%3D20
I was given it as a gift for Christmas (woot!) and the spool doesn't fit? When you try to screw it in the swingarm is slanted and the spool doesn't screw all the way in...or even in hardly at all.
Anyone else had this issue?
*Edit- forgot to mention I have an '08 SE

Sure it is the right size?
I picked up some cheap spools when getting my tires mounted....never had any problems.
Maybe a picture will help us solve it.

i have t- rex stands but i bought my spools separately. i had the same issue with the spools i found but used a 10mm(i believe) bolt to space the spools out. it worked perfect.

Hmm...not sure it's the right size I guess - just was hoping they shipped the wrong part and all of you guys' stands worked fine
I'll have to contact them on Monday.
Bigdtd, yours had the same problem? You just had to get a longer bolt?

They are probably the wrong size. By some from Pitbull......they have the spacers with them.

the bolts i got were long enough to use a nut for a spacer

ive had my t-rex stands for about 2 years now.....no problems at all. i bought spools seperate though. sounds like the threads on ur bolts may b wrong pitch or size.....go pick up some 10mm and see if that helps.
