Pinks arm drop .....The out come .....

Friday was test and tune with one qualifying run .. We all got 3 test and tune runs and at 5:00 we got one qualifying run ... I had a 8.95 run in qualifying , Jesse had a 9.15 if i remember right .. Teddy was in the mid 9.50s on his ZRX1200 ... We were happy to see that we had so many zx1400s at the track, more zx14s than Busas.. We had a good time , it was in the 80s and 81 % humidtiy and the track was dead hooking ...Got home at 8:30 that night and i was just plane worn out from being in the hot sun all day ..

Sat we were to get one more qualifying run but we were told they had the time to give us two runs ... I ran a 8.98 on my first pass and followed that up with a 9.00 pass .. Jess had a 9.30 and another 9.13 pass ... Teddy ran a best pass of 9.48 ..

They picked 4 classes of 32 cars and bikes ... 9 , 10 , 11, and a 13 second classes .. I thought i would get in with my 8.95 pass but it was to fast ..They picked a 9 second class with 32 cars and bikes that run 9.10s to about 9.30s ... So i didn't get picked because i was to fast and Teddy didn't get picked because he was to slow .. But Jesse and two other of our friends did get picked and both were on zx14s .. I would say about 7 or 8 zx14s made the field of 32 ...Jesse made two rounds and got put out by a Wheely Bar bike .. It was a very close race with the wheely bar bike just nipping out Jesse at the finish line ...

Jesse got into a fight with Rich Christensen over the wheely Bar bikes and them sand bagging .. Rich Christensen called Jesse an ass hole and Jesse told him to screw off .. lol.... The wheely bar bikes were sand bagging by using throttle stops and not running full out ..

Icing on the cake is a zx14 won the hole thing by putting out a 08 busa in the final round .. The 08 busa got the hole shot and the zx14 drove the busa down on the top end !!!! So it was a not so great day for Teddy and me but it was a great day for the zx14 ....All in all we had a great time and we will try again next year ...

Kind of like what happened to me with the gen1 busa that I posted video of. Only difference was that I actually walked past my guy and he still got the light. Funny thing is that the next time we were at the track, he was back down to running 6.30's again. We settled it with the first run of the day and I treed the shit out of him cutting a .022 light to his .4?? LOL. He out E/T'd me by a long shot, but I still got the win by like .03.

Hey Wheelie... I've got a friend that's going to be moving back to fort worth in april that you'll have to take around to some tracks. He's made leaps and bounds since the first time that we met. You'll like his bike. He rides a black and orange k8 busa with an alien head, PC3, 16t front sprocket, lowering bones, strap, and a 40 shot.

Yes sir, that is nice that the 14 took the honors. What year was the 14? I am glad that Christensen is getting more bikes in his programs I love the cars but when I see a bike lining up I cannot take my eyes away.

the Pinks I have watched were never fair, always a sandbagger, and the goof ball" nate"? in the background saying- thats a fair race. can someone find the youtube video of the guys making fun of the Pinks crew racing a golf cart and a scooter?

pinks continues to show their ignorance of bikes, first with jays riding, then letting wheelie bar bikes in over guys that can ride

It was a fun but tiring 2 days. Got to make some runs with the new motor and discovered a thing or 2 that I need to modify. We knew Friday that all the bar bikes were de-tuning to group themselves all together in a slower class. It worked because most all of them got picked. The bar bikes are cool but it's always fun to watch a no-bar bike ride right by them.

sounds like the DA was kicking his ass... 80 degrees and 81% humidity is horrible. I'd be willing to bet that it was probably in the 3500-4000 range. Either that or he's just getting slow in his old age

I know you guys had fun anyway!!!

You may make it onto tv, whether you made the 32 or not...

I heard they are putting together a bike only show, hopefully they will like the finish product and speed tv will pick it up!!!

TV is different than what we really do, but its still all good !!!

You have no idea how big of a idiot he is until you actually meet him and talk to him....

I have raced in 2 of his shows and doubt I will ever attend anything else he is promoting.

No i was all out ...I just couldn't hit a good 60 footer all day or both days ..lol.. The week before i had some 1.30s and for Arm Drop all i could muster was 1.46 ...1.48 OUCH..

The air was bad also ....My runs were good in the 1/8 mile 5.77 and 5.78 but the bike just wouldn't pull on the top end with the crappy air .. I would like to blame it all on the air but i can't ..
