Question before i buy a airshifter
friend of mine with a 08 busa has the mps automatic air shifter, really nice piece and shifts automatically at a set rpm.....his is set at like 10800 i think..... neways i was gonna order this kit tomorrow and wanted to know from guys in here where are you mounting the air bottles? we dont have a undertail like the busa, 9r or 12r..... so whats the best location???

don't get a big bottle. I have a 9oz CO2 bottle mounted in the tail side where the seat lock is. I took out the pressure relief and put a T in it to run low pressure

The silver bottle was for my air shifter ,i used Muzzy bottle bracket ... The other bottle was for spray ...

I've got mine under the stock seat. You've got to move some things around but it can be done.

I have a 10oz nitrous bottle filled with nitrous under the catalyst seat! I'll try to post a pic tomorrow.

If its stock wheel base,We mounted it in the bottom "dove tail"(the little wing at bottom) the bottle is the 16 oz, we paint it black & use a couple of quality zip ties & strap it to that bracket. Being painted balck , you really don't notice it.
If its a longer wheel base bike & will remain long, You can make a bracket & install it in front of rear tire up against swing arm, or make a tank that will bolt in there that fits into the swingarm. My buddy built me a custom tank 22oz for $115.00 & was woth it since it looked like part of the swingarm.

i had mine mounted at the nose of of my bike until i bought a mcintosh swing arm,it fitted up there perfect!
