I know my bike is 69", but this past Friday, a cold front swept through, and the density altitude was negative 1500 ft. Using 87 Chevron pump gas, I was cutting 1.33 60 foots every pass and went 8.83, my quickest ever on pump gas. I know thats off the subject, but just to show that good air helps your 60 foot times too.
Your wheelbase is kinda short. Its going to be hard to get into the 1.3's. How much do you weigh? Another thing is that you need the right suspension set-up too.
but whats the techniche ?
I have tried and tried and I cant get better than low 1.4's
What rpm do you set at ? do you just let the clutch out and let it power out on rpm set then pin the throttle or do you set rpm, slide clutch and pinn throttle at the same time ?

I launch at 4K, pin the throttle full instantly as I slide the clutch out. I only slide it a bit, then the bike takes over after that. With my wheelbase though, I am able to do that without the worry of it lifting. Shorter bikes may take for clutch slide.
