Has anyone had this problem with a carb motorcycle before

im working on a 06 zzr600 with 21000. Did a total tune up on it. Plugs, air filter, fuel filter. Problem im having is when the bike is under a load between 12-14k. As soon as you release the throttle the bike starts missing and seems to drop cylinders. You continue riding and you here the missing cylinders come back in. Its now getting worse. I cked the ohms and resistance on the coils and they are in spec according to the book. I cant test the peak voltage. Ive asked a few other mechanics and they thought it was the coils. Ive also heard its a carb issue. I dont think a carb could drop cylinders and come back on at a certain rpm. Maybe it can. Can anyone help me on this one. Ive worked on quite a few bikes and have seen anything like this.

You have some plugged jets-passageways in the carbs. A good carb cleaning and running some very fine wire through the passages and jets will fix you up

MJ sounds right, even letting my bike sit over winter i put fuel stabalizer in it due to the fact fuel just dont hold up like it used too, breaks down and gums up the carbs.
