You are heading into the Great Lakes region (unless you're targeting very far south Indiana) and the lakes create what we call a "snow machine". It's called "Lake Effect Snow" by its proper name and it does for snow storms in the winter what warm water does for hurricanes in the summer - makes them stronger!! I would not advise that type of ride anytime after November 1st.

Don't do it is snowing here today. Some parts of Ohio get more snow than others. But weather in Cincinnati/Dayton and Indiana southeast indiana tend to be very unpriedictable. But if you must www.weather.com usaully gives you a pretty could idea what to expect with there 10 day forecast.

Thanks guys. I woke up this morning and saw the blizzard effect in Ohio. I'll save the ride for warmer weather.
