Tsukigi Cannon exhaust Has anyone else seen one in person? A busa with one passed me on the freeway today passed me while i was in my car. Talk about one Bithing exhaust. By far one of the nicest looking and sounding exhausts that i've seen and heard in a long time. I wonder what kind of power they put out.

Those of us who race our bikes care about the power. If it doesn't make good power, it's not worth it's weight in shit.

Power to cost ratio was right on them. 6 hp for 125 dollars and losing 30 lbs was a good deal. They ran great, sounded good, and looked even better.... but they were just too loud.

I have one in the raw finish on a 2007 ZX-14 and it looks good, sounds real good and made I think good HP. The bike was never on the dyno with a stock motor and the pipe. I'm building a bike for my shop and it has a stage 3 KWS motor in it with the exhaust on 116 VP fuel 225. the bike still has about 3-5 hp in it because the secondaries are still in. I can post some pics
I was on the verge of ordering one up for my 14 before I went turbo. I think they look awesome............and I've read they make great power, but they're also loud as hell from what I understand. If you don't mind alittle noise, tho I'd go for one in a heartbeat if I was shopping

The cannon is one of my fav but I am more inclined to go with an alien head because of the mapping/customer support of Brock's. I doubt an aliean head is going to sound less impressive and you will pick up good hp with it.

You know, I can't believe I'm the only swingin dick on this website that has videos from dyno shootouts of various bikes. And I am neither a racer or a engine builder. Yet I'm the only one here who has vids of numerous bikes full dyno runs? Geez...
For the record, listening to a bike friggin idling with an occassional throttle blip is NOT how you take the full measure of an exhaust's sound or quality. I have a few videos (including Jorgen's Tsukigi "race" shorty muffler that he used to have that is still the loudest exhaust I have ever heard), just click this link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eG5VzX6R9RA
and then click on "More From: Azx14blurr" to see the rest of my vids... This spring I plan on hitting every dyno shootout I can and recording EVERY bikes power pull so I can have the ultimate reference guide! If we can just get somebody with a Brocks setup on there 14 to show up we can have a Muzzy/Brock shootout.

A buddy of my mine has a Tsukigi cannon on his 14. It is the best sounding pipe I have ever heard. It makes ridiculous power. I'm not going to post someone else's numbers, but I have one on order from HPC. I will post the results as soon as I get it on the dyno. I am replacing my Muzzy full system with the Cannon. I was impressed to say the least.

Sorry bud, there is no way in hell that the Cannon is going to make more power overall than a Muzzy M14 exhaust. The best they could do is a tie, and if you're dumping a Muzzy for a Tsukigi in order to get a pipe that "Makes ridiculous power" over what you already have, you will be sadly mistaken.
It's always nice to be different, but its prettty damn rare that "different" equals faster or more powerful in the sport bike scene. Word to the Wise

I already ran against a Tsukigi, and the system Gilberjj had used the "shorty" gp style muffler - there best flowing setup. He did good, barely edged out 2 other Muzzy M14 setups, but I had him by 6hp. After that loss, he sold his Tsukigi and bought a Muzzy just like mine. hint hint Actually, I forgot his stated reason for going to Muzzy, but I'm sure that every time he looks at that video of the dyno readouts he gets a slow burn! ____________
