She definitely flies !! Scootin up Ortega Hyw (So Cal) last month a guy comes up behind me, waves me over all grins and say's " that was GREAT! I didn't know those big bikes tipped in like that! What's your email address? I got that on video."
Well... how nice, never seen myself ride before. I was a bit surprised the bike gets over so far too, lol. Now I just need to get my butt off it I was going slow coming up to the turn because I knew there was traffic ahead. I don't think this guy thought I would roll on when I tipped in because then I just shoot out of the picture. It's a great little section of turns, the carousel. Gets cut way short though by though pesky cars!

That is a nice vid of you riding! I found myself lifting my head up trying to keep you in frame on that first turn while watching the video. LOL! Too bad the camera wasn't angled up a little higher. What is the highway number of Ortega Hwy?

The video was probably longer but the camera guy couldn't keep up....
I hope those was not battle axes you were riding on..?? Also was the bike lowered?
Nice posture looks like you found the center of the bike as you look comfortable handling it..

ha ha... yah the 14's pull a way quick! Nothing out there keeps up on the straights.. but the better riders walk all over me once it gets tight. She just doesn't transition like my ZX10, lol.
Unfortunately... I do have the Bridgestone B/A tires, and I don't much care for them. Seem to go through them pretty quick (duh) and have only had them step out a few times, throttle on the paint line, high RPM down shift, (still wishing for slipper clutch) nothing monstrous... but I don't totally trust them. Not like the Pirelli Corsa's on my 10 niiiice
I am pretty comfortable with this bike, in fact I'd say hands down in my 20 years of sport bikes this is the friendliest most comfortable bike I've ever ridden. I'm usually on an '05 10, but broke my ankle a few months back and can't put weight on my toes yet. The 10 is taller and I also ride more aggressive, hanging off and pushing on the pegs.
Tried that this weekend on an '08 10, 300 miles of good fun, and I am sure feeling it in my quads and ankle today, Sucks to get old!
Ortega Hwy is # 74 connects Pacific Coast Hwy (Orange County, CA,) to Lake Elsinore, Idyllwild, Palm Springs... we often head down I 15 to Palomar Mt., Berrego Springs, Julian. Nice roads.
It's funny WindSword you mention lifting your head watching that video LOL ... I do it every time! Like I'm gonna see up into the corner of the monitor! I hope I find that guy and get more vid

I will have to make a trip down to ride Ortega Hwy.
Also the road to Palomar Mt. looks like it would be a great ride.
Our club is doing Angeles Crest this weekend.
I've never been on it but by looking at a map it seems like it will be a fun ride.
Let us know if you get more vids of you up.
I know that if I could hold the monitor "just right" that I could see more of you on that first turn. :0)

I don't care for palomar that much. There are always too many brand new riders out there trying to push the envelope and kill us all lol. Julian area is a good relaxed ride. Especially if you make it up through the cleveland national forest and whatnot. You should bring the bikes out to barona friday to do some straight lines lol. Rich christenson is going to be there doing the armdrop live thing.

anyone want to host my vids? New laws in Washington State allow them to bust ya for reckless if they can tie you to a video doing something excessive. Thats means ALL of my vids had to get pulled... If I can find someone else to post them (preferably someone outside of BS central Washington State) I'll send them to ya. Here is a sample of what to expect. (I let my camera be borrowed around my riding group and I posted the vids since I don't know "for sure" who was who in the vids, or even if they are "real". They were just "found" on my harddrive when I got it back. ____________

Umm yeah. It's my friends 636 I trade him for occasionally. I'm not very comfortable on it because its so small, but it reminds me of my 250 Ninja so I live with it. The vids of us going all out on that hwy I can't post though. Need someone else to post them up with no ties to me since they are 170+mph runs, with some of the corners at 150mph full lean on blind corners etc. Only do those kind of runs a couple times a year because of the high risk. ____________

huh. Tell me this: is what you did something the cops could *legally* do without a court order to find out who I am, or who my friends are? Cuz you got me worried now.
Somehow you found another site that I post on (PNWRiders.com I assume) and found his bike in the pics section? Thats a stretch though, since more than just his bike has that reservoir cap. Following my IP? I don't particularly care to know how to do it myself, just want to make sure I'm safe from the guys with the badges ya know?
