What is the benifit of a braided line vs. stock? Looks or is it also functional?

I guess it is more "rigid"...When the hydraulic pressure makes the hose swell, it takes more movement of the clutch lever to get the same results.
With braided, all the pressure is transfered tothe pistons, and none is lost to the hose swell.

I would have thought the hydraulic pressure in a clutch line is nothing compared to a brake line, so ballooning would be negligable.
Probably looks a whole lot better with all the lines in the same material though.

When I ordered mine it was made for the 14 and no length was required to place the order.
I'll measure the original in a few.
I guess your having one made.
