Fix a radiator??
Found out I put a small hole in my radiator when disabling it at Bonneville. Can a hole in a radiator be welded/soldered and painted. Thanks,

Yup any good rad shop can fix it ... Or you can epoxy it yourself ..

I had mine fixed at a radiator shop. I used black BBQ pit paint to return it to looking new. It is still working like a champ. I did purchase a radiator guard to cover it for added insurance in the future.

Thanks guys. Kawasaki wants $700 for a new one but that includes the cap, of course.

Radiator guard is a cheap insurance to prevent this in the future. I recommend Cox Racing guard

I just had 2 radiators repaired here. http://www.mckinneyradiator.com/
Both had small pin holes. $25 each for the repair and presure test. Only warning, don't expect it to come back looking like new. They have to chew out the fins to get a good weld.

silver solder. super clean surface for bonding. use a flux for silver solder so it cleans and have that extra bond @ 15psi plus attacking the other end on the push out your work.
A soldering gun works if you can pyramid the layers to cone the hole closed. Hard to explain but to heat the surface of the solder you already laid. Like circle the wagons around the hole and build the next circle over the solder.
Then, you want to keep that solder where it is. Say some dropped as you practiced or tired to nail it once without a plop going in. You now have to flush it out or hope it is not sucked up in the tube and over heat the bike with the dropped debris.
Same area is the water pump blades get a wipe with that and she cuts whatever pressure the blade could scoop is now under the cut off piece. Lot's to think about dropping lead in the tube.
Can you work upside down? Eye wood.
