Help hooking up LM-2

Ok guys I need a little help with color codes, check my work, please!

TPS= Y/W and here is where I am confused BL or BR/BK?

RPM= W/R and BL/R, reading off the #1 injector

I'll be tapping into these at the ECM.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am getting ready to install a LM-2 and this is how I see it.

For RPM use the injector signal which is the cleanest signal
from the LM-2 analog harness the blue (-) goes to the BL/R at the ECU. The black/white (+) from the LM-2 analog harness goes to ECU W/R which is the + for all 4 injectors at the ECU.

I am going to use analog in # 1 into the LM-2 for T/P so the purple (+) wire from the LM-2 harness will go to the Y/W at ECU terminal 26 and the black (-) from LM-2 harness will go to the BR/BK at ECU terminal 34.

I have been advised by tech support it is critical to use the same (-) wire as the ECU sees. Do not use an independent ground connection.

I think it is probably best to splice into the ECU harness at the ECU to avoid interference caused by the high voltage stick coils.

I am still a week or so away from installing the LM-2 harness as I am waiting on a special order transducer to log airbox pressure/vaccumn. If the T/P, RPM connections work out let me know .

a nice wire plug will make it easy to install and remove as needed.
like fuel or nitrous changes.

You're right ninja12. I ordered plugs & harness supplies from Eastern Beaver in Japan. Really nice OEM quality plug connectors which are available with the seals to make them waterproof. A lot of the long distance & iron butt crowd use this company to supply specialty wiring supplies and custom wiring harnesses. Since it is my intention to use the LM-2 on two motorcycles quality plugs will make it more convenient.

Don't laugh but I use the extention harness for regular trailers from walmart.
The same four wire harness you use to hook your trailer to your truck for lights.
Cheap, available, and very well made. Use the side with 3 females on the bike.
Just make sure that the 1 exposed post is a ground and use the weather proof cover when not in use. If you get the extention and cut it in half you will have both side ready to install.

Thanks guys that worked great, used a 4-way connector from RadioShack.

Now I can't figure out how to get the Throttle positions right, the show 13-75%, I know need to change the voltage parameters, but can't fugure out where.

Halvefast is the RPM reading correctly and did you use the injector signal?
Did the terminal connection points I thought were correct work to get RPM & TP?
I still haven't installed mine because of being away from home for work 6 days a week.
You have to scale the analog input for the TP in the logworks program.
If you haven't downloaded and printed the logworks 3 manual you will need it.
Go to page 31 of the logworks 3 manual for the setup on TP example. You have to
enter the TP voltages at 0% & 100% for the analog in channel you are using for TP.
