Not to say some of us don't ride REALY hard. But IF you really used ALL the bike had for the first 4 gears, how do you keep it from flipping over backwards from a power wheelie? What I mean to say is that there is more power on tap than is FULLY useable without lighting the tire and breaking traction OR wheel standing it.
Alot of the guys who ride 14's on the street are bigger fellas. Bone stock I could power wheelie first gear, that was about it. "320lbs" and "fast" dont normally go together, especially on a bike, but I like to put square pegs into round holes. Umm, donut holes... think I'm gonna go add another pound, err I mean get some breakfast.
I use ALL the power of my bike on a regular basis on the street. Living in Washington State near all those great mountain roads I can get away with it. In California, Florida, Texas etc. I could see it being very difficult to find places to do that without being under a police survellience plane or in the radars crosshairs. Anyways, with all the basic mods on my bike combined with my weight, I'm usually a tad faster as a well ridden '08 10R in a straight line. Which is good enough for me. For now.

How much does the 10R rider weigh?? I'm guessing 400-600 lbs.

My main friend on a 10R I ride with (and a damn good rider) converted his to a street fighter with a -1 tooth front sprocket and all the mods. He is "Kirk ZX10" on this vid (did URL so that you can click on "high definition". I didnt zoom on all the results, just mine.)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IXS_X1zE0Js
Anyways, he weighs about 100 pounds less than me and we are dead even until 150mph where I pull decent on him. Count that as a factor of him not having fairings, but still he says me, Lacker14, and Lackers' 08 bored n stroked Busa buddy are the only bikes he's not been able to pull on. Considering that that same ride me and kirk left a whole herd of R1's, a new Gixxer 1k stocker AND a full race supposed 192hp '06 1K, a 1098, a Aprillia Factory, and a bunch of 600's I believe him.

I'm stock gearing right now. I'm gonna have fix that soon though, my friend on a '08 Busa just went -1/+2 because he got pulled on by me and couldnt believe it. Now he wants to re-run again.... I told him "sure, we start at 150mph ok?" heh heh I have too race him again I guess.

So...with stock gearing, pcusb and exhaust (and at 320 lbs), you are running even (to 150 mph) with an 08 10R with a 100 lb. lighter rider and -1 front sprocket?

Is what it is. I also dyno'd 18hp higher, too! I also was neck n neck to nearly the speed limiter racing Lacker14 on his Brocks Smeg/PCIIIw/flies out/ BMC race filter equiped silver zx14 (is all silver the 07 or 08 paint option?). He also is about 100 pounds lighter than me. Maybe there is some truth to the 2006 being the fastest year? lol most likely its just that my bike is "fully" broken in now- 4500 hard miles at the time of that giant ride/race through the mountains.

In my last race, I was legitmently pulled on by an 07 r1 with full akro system, pcIII and filter. We raced to from about 70-170. I took the initial hit, then he passed me and stayed a bike or 2 in front of me. I'll have to get a custom map and go -1 in the front. That should do it.......

Gilberjj why dont we meet up this weekend if the forecast still calls for sun? Might as well grap everybody and do a 14/busa ride. I can get 2 busa guys, both on 08's and Brocked. Would make for one last good video for this year! Where do you live again? Im in Snohomish, just east of Everett.

Im in South Tacoma. I might have one more ride on my back tire. Last night I went out for a ride, and did a little bit of a spin show cause the ground was a little wet.
I would love to go for a ride if the weather is even half decent. Name the time and place.
The last ride I was on the black zx14 from the dyno day (not ninja of doom) bit the dust. He banged his bike up pretty good, but let's not have any similar experiences. I don't push it AT ALL if it's wet. Either way, lets go for a ride.
Edit: Sorry if my post is all over the place. I just spent the last 10 hours in class and meetings at school. Finance is killing me....
