Sly Cops
I was riding the ZX Sunday in the right lane on a 4 lane road with hardly any traffic. I was just idling along at the speed limit of 55 as its in the city and a known radar area. Noticed a car coming up in the rearview mirror. As it gets closer I see its a cop in my lane and then he dissapears from my rear view mirrors. After a moment or two I thought ...WTF....THERE ARENT ANY SIDE STREETS HERE. I look over to my left and he is in the left line tagging me in my blind spot so he wont show up in my rearview mirrors. I slow down and raised my left hand in a "whats up" gesture. He shook his head no and went on by me. Nice try.
Dont the police have anything better to do ???

Nope, that has happened to me also. He thought he was slick but oh well you just have to watch out for them cause they are watching out for you.

Welp, to them, we're the enemy.
For some reason, if we aren't riding a Harley(or what they think is a Harley), more than likely we should be up to something and it's their job to tag us and bag us.
For some reason, they put us on the list with murders, drug dealers. LOL!!! Go figure.
To them were the gangtas of the highway.
What pisses me off is when you do all you can to ride at the speed limit and the person on the cell phone fly's by you going 15 over in there 6000lbs Escalade and the nice officer pulls out and follows YOU for 3 miles.
Now what's going to do more damage in a collision, 800lbs of bike and rider, or 6000lbs of metal and glass at 60mph?
Now don't get me wrong, if we are acting an ass, we deserve to get stopped. But if we are riding with some sense leave us alone and go get some of those "no-look left turners" and "red light runners"!

How about the "left-lane squatters", the "no turn-signal-on-lane-changers" or anyone towing something. That's who the cops should be focussed on, not me trying to keep out of the way of those f*ckers.

Living in the land of geriatrics I can understand this better than most. I've had old ladies creep up on me so close that they are almost touching my rear tire, and I would have to gun it just to get away from them.
