$5.500-6,000 on a trade in. $7,000-7,500 on a private sale unless there is less than 2,000 miles on it or it is loaded with expensive mods. Then the price would rise based on 50%value of the mods. Not likely any more. You can buy new 08's for under $10,000. New 07's for about $8,000.

Well I bought an 06 with 500 miles on it with a new in the box Muzzy's nos kit, carbon fiber heel guards, shop manual, extra oil filter, new muzzy lowering links, new in box power commander and a new in package tre for 7800. 2 weeks ago take off the extras and I bought the bike for about 6600.00 and the bike was mint!

depends where you at in the USA...Around here Kawi doesn't do great at trade in, resell..For a 2006 with low miles trade in (4800.00-5500.00 maybe) expect the lower end of that.

my 06 has 11xxx miles dealer offered 6100 trade on 08 for 10600,said i could keepmy pipe and pwc.mine is clean new tires ect but that was more than i thought they would give, you just have to remember most of their money is feel good money,to buy straight out most dealerships have a whole diff price
when i sold cars i could show you 3000 in trade , but only put 100 in cost in your car. the costomer was never told this.dealers have a lot of ROOM considering they only own the used inventory.so if they say things like dealer invoice thats BS . make them a ridiculious offer show them the cash and walk out once you wont make it to your bike , your offer might buy it but once your show them the money, no lot lizard worth his ballsweat will let you leave without at least a counter offer
