Help with Braided Steel Brake and Clutch Lines I just bought steel braided front and rear brake lines and clutch line? Anyone know if any speacial tools are needed to install or bleed the lines? Any advice would be appreciated.

Suggest that you cover the gas tank etc to prevent any brake fluid spillage on it. Especially if you intend to start banging on the bars. Also, set the cover back on top of the master. From time to time when working the lever it will spit brake fluid back up/out.
its only a pain the 1st time. I suggest you have someone help you. Its easier with two, one on the lever forcing fluid out and one by the caliper dealing with things

think its worth buying one of those brake bleeding kits? My local Napa has one for $40.

I wouldn't do even one line without a bleeder kit. I bought the one thats reverseable and runs on batt. Worth every penny if you do alot of brake/clutch work. You can get a manual set thats vac/pressure thats less money and probably all you need if your not working on other bikes besides your own.. Bill
