Clutch Again . . . .
Ok, as some of you know, I installed new steels and fibers a few weeks ago.
In the beginning, the clutch felt like it was grinding for a split second before full engagement.
Then at half throttle in second at lower half of the tach.
That went away after a short ride.
Now I'm noticing that when the bike is warm, sometimes I have less clutch feel and sometimes it flops itself in to engagement when lever is almost out.
Of course upon reinstallment, I soaked the steels and fibers, double checked placement and bled the system. When I measured the springs, they were still reading over 2.5".
Wondering if I still should have replaced them at the same time of reinstallment.

Sounds like there is still air in the hydraulic system.

What's the best way to get air out of the system.
Tapped and bled til' I STARTED BLEEDING!!!

Maybe try a Mity-Vac vacuum brake bleeder..

Ghostman, you're not leaving the bleeder screws open too long are you? I ran into the
same problem the first time I bled my clutch. It apparently was letting air back into the
system. I found that if you close the bleeder while there is still some pressure on the
fluid it bleeds it out better. Also, which bleeder are you doing first? The master or the
slave cylinder.

Always left pressure on the fluid.
I bled top and bottom.(Master and Cylinder)
