I perhaps would think you would be correct but I'm not the only ZX14 that went against the Suzuki..

I allowed a rider on my ZX14 which was experienced and weighed less than the other guy and still the Suzuki prevailed..

kawasaki_rick if you perhaps think it is the rider then I guess you know what you're talking about..

Remember it is not magazines that we are showing you it will be actually videos..
And as you will see in the videos there is a lot of motorcycles.

Everybody has their opinions..

This is the photo of the Suzuki.

I am going to not respond back to this thread topic ..
I believe all you guys are great individuals that love their motorcycles as I.
So stay safe and once I get the videos uploaded to my site I will embed the videos over here so everybody can view them and have their own opinions..
Isn't that why we live in America..

Yep I'd spank her but good. What was this post about? I hope your girl has fake tattoo's cause they look like hell. Really with aftermarket wheels header and mirrors removed lowered you should be able to run with anything.

I personally think rideharder(not bashing)just needs to do some more homework. There's alot of hidden power in the 14 that can be found, without cracking the cases;and its all really inexpensive!just read and learn.

Rideharder,

I've raced similiar bikes that you mentioned and I weigh more then you. You should be able to pull away in 5th. What gear did you leave out of ??

My friend rides an 07 r1 and he beats me about every time we race from a freeway roll on. We usually start around 75-80, so there is no sense in me starting in 1st gear (rev limiter is 85 I believe). My bike starts to gain back after about 140, but his will always jump out to a lead (he starts in 1st and me in 2nd). I'm ordering a 16t front sprocket and we'll see if that changes things.

edit: I'm posting this question on another thread, but if you can help me out, plz do. I've trapped 146 in the 1/4, and I am hoping that putting on a 16t front sprocket won't require an upshift to 5th. Does anybody know the rev limiter speeds with a 16t front sprocket (and perhaps the stock rev limiter speeds as well)?

In roll on races gearing makes all the difference in the world.if you're a fly weight then you can get by with stock gears.but if you're 200 plus then you gotta have it.I beat up on 1000's regularly and they always say I usually beat big bikes yours is the only one I cant beat. Not saying im the fastest, but I do my homework to try and stay ahead.

I weigh 320, and I have yet to have ANYONE pull on me. The fastest bikes I've roll on raced (06 zx10, 08 Busa, 08 zx14, 08 GSXR 1K- all at least piped/PCIII) can hold there own until about 140mph, after that its all over. The closest was Lacker 14's bike- I barely reeled him in on the top end. So maybe I got a wednesday built bike... lol All I know is that there seems to be some 14's that are just really low in power compared to the rest. Here is an example of multiple 14's all with the same Muzzy M10 exhaust and similar mods (except the #2 bike, he had a Tsuzugi (misspelled it I know) full Ti exhaust with no aircleaner. My bike came in first, and the ony real difference was I run 0W-20 synthetic car oil (mobil 1).

Let me know what that does and what you think about it..

I was running a 17/44 on the racetrack the first time that I went they kicked me off the track after the second pass.. Both passes was in the nines without the nitrous..

The next time I was at the racetrack I had the gear ratio 18/41
and did not make it in the nines..

I played around with a lot of gear ratios with my weight 220..

Best result that I found playing with little straight-line bikes believe it or not on my motorcycle. 18/44..
it seems like my motorcycle does not work as hard going through the gears second through fourth..
