Head Swap-In Frame Possible?

Hey guys. I'm gonna be swapping a head on an 06 pretty soon and was wondering if it's doable in frame. On zx12s I rotate the engine on the bottom mount bolt and do it pretty easily, even without removing studs. Just wondering if it's about the same on the 14. Also, does anyone know how far the piston sits in hole? Are factory piston vale reliefs very generous? Thanks.

Yes you can pull the head in the frame but i rather pull the motor ... Piston is 7 to 8 Thou in the hole .. The factory valve pockets are not that big , you want bigger pockets you will have to go aftermarket pistons ..

Thanks, Lee. Your head gasket post had some other info I was looking for also. A customer is bringing me a thin head gasket and a milled head and was curious what he can get away with. I have a feeling the thin head gasket might not get used cause I think the head's been cut .025 already. May have to go 110/110 to get it to clear!
