New rear tire

Well the 2nd dunlop bit the dust and was talked in to a continental road attack by the local dealer. Only a 100 miles or so but so far pretty impressed. I dont drag just the curves mainly, but it handles really well. About $30 bucks cheaper than the dunlop. Also I was told that come Oct. 1 all tires from parts unlimited were going to increase %10 across the board. Considered buying in bulk??

How reliable is the 10% thing? Was its your wifes hairdresser, or a PU sales rep?

Which tire size would be best for twisties use? No draggin'. 190/55 or 190/50

This was the service manager (who is agood friend) and he got it from the PU rep. There warehouse is 5 minutes from the dealership. Didnt hear it myself, but I would take his word for it.... I use the 190/50, never tried the 190/55.

I've used 190/55 slicks for track days they help the turn in nicely..

I got 5k out of the conti road attack. I liked that tire. I just put on dunlop roadsmarts. I think they handle a little better than the conti. I will post the miles when they wear out.
