Just a little over $200 more gets you a full system though.

I wouldn't have thought that brock would do a slip on system since performance gains would be small and people would see his name putting out mediocre performance gains.

I think the demand drove the supply side of Brock's economics. People wanted to save the cash on the full system and not have to purchase a PC. They pick up the some cool looks, volume, a little horsepower, and most dealerships will still honor the warranty with bolt ons.

Exhaust doesn't void your waranty anyway. I can't imagine paying that muchfor slipons when you can throw in a little more cash and get a full. All though it would look sweet having two alienheads sticking out.

I'm sure that if Brock can sell a $500 Regina chain, he will have no problem selling these slip-ons.

Despite Brock's excellent resume he is still first and foremost a businessman, and ignoring the corners of the market containing the potential customers that do not want the aggravation and cost that might come with a full system, I believe he is making a wise move. I am sure he will have disclaimers on his website warning against the slip-ons not providing the HP gains of a full system. Still.... as a customer who is looking to save a few bucks as well, I just do not see the slip-ons as being nearly cost effective enough to warrant not spending the extra few hundred. Now make those slip-ons sub-$600 and now you might get a guy thinking.

Buying those slipons provides more than a couple hundred bucks in savings when you consider the $300 Power Commander you'll need with a full system. Some guys might be cool with just taking 10 minutes and throwing those bad boys on and be done with it.
