PC3 Map needed

Hello Gent's

I was wondering if anybody had a good map for a stock bike with flies removed?

Appreciate all the help, cannot wait to get these removed tomorrow and bring this bike to life

Write Muzzy....I got a map from them for my set-up. It performed miles above the Dynojet map. The Dynojet map works, but has a un-refined feel to it, if that makes any sense. The Muzzy map made more power and was alot smoother.....

Hey Guy's

Appreciate all the advice, will try out those maps and see how they do. Just was curious what worked for others running a stock bike with the flies removed.

Thanks guys

LMK if your not happy with the maps you try from DJ. They do the best they can,but their maps are made to get you in the ballpark. I have a few maps that work well on your appl. I will send you some..... Bill

wtf is LMK??? like my koochie, or some variation??? You got me on that abbreviation....

At any rate, my comment was not a bash on dynojet....used many of their products over the years...just stated what was a fact for me and my bike.....alot factors into the maps: elevation, humidity, etc...and for where I am at, the Muzzy map that I requested (and I provided all the atmospheric info to them) works spot on, or damn close. I got a buddy that paid top dollar for a custom map and his bike has alot of power and is glass smooth.....the map I currently use makes my bike run just as good........

I made the assumption that he had already tried the dynojet maps, since he must obviously have a PCIII to request maps....and therefore was not completely satisfied with the, for lack of a better term, 'generic' DJ maps.....

I couldn't find any maps that improved on the DJ maps when I requested them from the forum. Alot that I got made my bike run worse. I had an ephifany and emailed Muzzy, since that is the system I run on my bike. I figured they might have a map that was close to my conditions and mods....and BAM...they did.....

and good luck to Aaron on finding a map that works well for where you are at. When these things are mapped right, they are a pleasure to ride

LMK... I am not much into the computer age... but by context... I believe it is Let Me Know...

Also... he is running stock with flies removed... I am not sure how many runs MUZZYS did with a stock bike with no flies?? I know that Bill from New York has one that he set up for this Forum that he will sell at a minimal price. I have no idea what the price is but have heard on here that it is set up good. I just can't remember his contact info... maybe someone has it??

Hey guys,

Going to be removing the flies and installing the pc this evening and trying out the DJ map for the time being(left a msg for bill). I heard without a map that the bike will run a lean condition and was curious if the DJ map would correct this? I plan to have a custom map done in a few weeks when I have enough to pickup my exhaust and want to make sure I am not damaging my bike riding it till then.

Also I have to recalibrate my tps correct(or does that come with the map?) Any good documentation on how to go about this?

Looking forward to seeing what this bike can do after its dialed in

Like always, your help/advice is greatly appreciated!

Once again, powercommander.com is your friend.

There are tutorials (videos) for all common tasks, including setting the throttle position:

You only need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.
